The Society is holding a Show & Tell at the May General Meeting and PotLuck on Wednesday, May 8th. To date, we will have presentations on: FhGS publications; the search for one Member's long lost uncle; the presentation of two family books by one Member; adventures on the Oregon Trail- Missouri to Oregon; numerous genealogy handouts for Members; searching beyond birth, marriage and death records; historical newspapers- the social media of the past; World War II memorabilia; a Civil War letter mystery; various and sundry pieces of memorabilia from Pearl Harbor, the St. Louis World Fair and other events; and one Member's successful search for her Swedish cousin and the overseas visit that brought that search to fruition.
